Governor's Small Business Forum & Expo

The Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) and the Governor's Office of Economic Development and Tourism are working with the local economic development partners throughout the state to present a series of Governor's Small Business Forums.

Valuable information on business growth opportunities, expanding markets, and workforce development will be presented to businesses with 100 workers or less.

Keynote speaker, Mark Dotzour, Chief Economist and Director of Research for Texas A&M University, will be speaking on real estate and economist issues. He has published over 83 articles in magazines and given over 1,050 presentations to more than 165,000 people on these topics. His research has been published in the Wall Street Journal, Money Magazine, USA Today and Business Week. Mark believes that there is no better place to be in business right now than Texas.

The Chambers of Collin County are major supporters of their small business community. They routinely partner in order to educate business leaders on ways to help their company and community grow.
