Description:

This session provides guidance and insight into what works and what doesn't when you are trying to host successful events. Whether your events are large or small, you can follow some simple steps that help to drive attendance up, increase engagement of participants and improve the overall experience as an event planner.

  • Successful event management plans
  • Ways to incorporate social media tools
  • How to increase awareness and revenue

Bring your lunch and stay for the bonus demo session to see these strategies in action! This session is aproximately an hour long and will begin around 12:15.

BONUS: Getting Started with Event Marketing
This session is a basic tour of the tools provided by Constant Contact in the Event Marketing system. This will be a live, guided demonstration. Participants do not need to bring a laptop. We will provide a general introduction to the tools and we allow time for questions and answers during this session as well.

This event is perfect for your organization and your members:

  • Small business owners
  • Non-profits
  • Professional Organizations
  • Or anyone who is involved in planning events!

If you have considered hosting events to drive potential customers to your business or organization, these sessions are a great starting off point for you.

If you have hosted events in the past, these sessions will provide some guidance for you to make sure you are getting the most out of the experience going forward.

Presented by Julie Niehoff, Sr. Regional Development Director at Constant Contact. This session is not about the tools in Constant Contact so much as about the best practices and strategies of successful events, no matter what tools you use to promote and manage them.
