Non-profit Training: In-Depth Grant Writing Workshop

Presented by Government Contracting SBDC
Dates:

Cost: $300.00 (4-week Class)

Description:

Preparing successful grant proposals to receive funding from corporations for foundations requires careful research, meticulous preparation and graceful writing. Grant administrators tell us that many grant requestors have no real understanding of the proposal writing process and as a result, their worthy causes are not funded. In this course you'll learn how to become fully familiar with the institution or project for which you are requesting support.

You will receive valuable guidance on:

  • Preparing and writing an actual proposal in class
  • Researching and locating applicable grants
  • The difference between foundation, corporate, and government grants
  • Becoming a skilled grant writer

Then, you'll learn how to assemble, write and submit complete grant proposals to foundations, corporations and wealthy individuals for funding your projects.

Skilled grant writing consultants are always in de-mand. Learn how you can use basic knowledge you gain in this class as a foundation for becoming an expert in the red-hot grant writing consulting field.
